also a rodeo on friday & saturday nights. overnight: ft. worth, texas saturday 29th september transportation will be provided to take you to the stockyards [start of the chisholm trail], where you can find shops, bars, restaurants, and other entertainment. tonight, we will leave the hotel @ 7.30 p.m. to go back down to the stockyards area for eating and live music. we will arrive back at our hotel at midnight. overnight: ft. worth, texas sunday 30th september transportation is available this morning from the hotel for local shopping and to the stockyards . n.b. we leave @ 3 p.m. this afternoon for one of the highlights of this tour, an annual show organised by a local country music d.j., usually involving about 5 live real country music bands/artists. food is also available. we return to our hotel by about 9.30 p.m. overnight: ft. worth, texas monday 1st october this morning, after breakfast, the bus leaves @ 8.30 a.m. for brady, texas , home of the heart of texas radio show, record label and museum [which includes jim reeves tour bus], where we will be entertained by at least one of the artists on their label. they also have a good selection of cd's for sale. later, we leave for austin , the state capitol and music capital of texas, where there is live music available every night. on arrival, we check into our hotel which has a swimming pool, bar, gym facilities and a restaurant. we leave about 8.30 p.m. this evening for a bar/club with live music, returning to the hotel about 12.30 p.m. overnight: austin, texas tuesday 2nd october after a complimentary continental breakfast, we leave @ 9.30 a.m. for san antonio , where you can visit the alamo, the river walk, el mercado mexican market or go shopping. we arrive back at our hotel at approx 4.p.m. we leave the hotel @ 7.30 p.m. for a local honkytonk/dancehall with live music, food is available. we return to the hotel by midnight. overnight: austin, texas wednesday 3rd october after breakfast, we leave @ 9 a.m. for our journey to the mayan dude ranch, bandera, texas, in the hill country, for the perfect western experience, where all food, 2 horserides, beer and wine are included from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. there is also an olympic size pool, live music and other entertainment. overnight: mayan dude ranch, bandera thursday 4th october all food, horserides, beer, wine and entertainment are included
